Wow this was a super fun photo shoot. Lara has so many cute ideas and a couple years ago she did a cute Halloween shoot of her children on her bed in their Halloween PJs reading Halloween books. This shoot is similar– with Christmas clothes, books, presents and lots of Nerds.

Then after the Christmas pictures we went with the cousins to the park and got pictures of all the children playing in the leaves. So Fun. Enjoy.

Lillian is a wonderful model and I love taking pictures of her!

My First Art Show in Arizona

This Friday I will be participating in my first Art Show in Arizona. I am very excited.

The theme I choose for this show is my desert plant collection. During this past year I have been working on an ABC book of Desert plants. It is called O is for Old Man of the Andes http://www.blurb.com/books/2691194

The book is now complete and I am going to be showing it, framed pictures, and greeting cards from the Desert plant collection.

SWE Design it event

On November 12th SWE- ASU (Society of Women Engineers-Arizona State University) hosted Design It! During this event middle school and high school students learned about the engineering design process.

A special thanks to Heritage Academy and Flight 33 for supporting this event, in great numbers.

And it couldn’t have happened without the work, dedication and passion of Ren Ishii.

Ren thought of the idea, developed the curriculum, planned the event and made this outreach event a wonderful reality.

Lara is a great friend and so creative. It is so much fun taking pictures of her and her family. This time the colors were black and greys and they all look so great.

At one point he ran up to his sister and just held on. It was so sweet and she held and protected him like a big sister should. It was very sweet.

My friend Lara dressed her children up as a cowboy and cowgirl for Halloween and we did a photo shoot in a old ghost town. It was great fun.

Envison Utah- Provo and Orem

Whenever I go back to Utah I always go back to my Alma Mater BYU and wander through campus. It is so beautiful and peaceful.

The new library…ok so it isn’t so new now, but it wasn’t there when I was going to school there.

and I just had to get this staircase

Another beautiful spot in Provo is the LDS temple. Now the grounds are covered with beautiful flowers.

We even saw a bunny on the lawn

I love the light in this picture.
